Asbestos Abatement include:
- Survey Reporting (Report contain the full quantification and type of asbestos to be removed from a specific area including recommendations and preferred actions to be taken. Report compiled by a competent and authorized AIA).
- DOL notification(this notification needs to be submitted to the DOL before commencement of any works).
- Plan of Work(the POW will include the risk analyses & assessment complete with relevant remedial actions and precautions to be adhered to).
- Breaking or dismantling of asbestosmaterials.
- Safe packaging of asbestosmaterials.
- Monitoring and inspection by an approved Asbestos Inspection Authority (AIA).
- Safe transportof asbestosmaterials to an approved and registered landfill site (manifests and weighbridge certificate will be issued to the client).
- Transportation and Safe disposal of asbestosmaterials transported to an approved and registered landfill site, for which the safe disposal certificates will be issued to the client.
Site clearance certificate handover to the client wherein declaring the site asbestos free, either partially or in full, after which a certificate issued by the AIA.
